The key objectives of the issue of exchange-traded bonds of JSC Commercial Real Estate FPK Garant-Invest are to attract investments in increasing and updating the real estate portfolio, both through the acquisition of existing facilities with subsequent renovation and through the construction of new facilities, as well as regular renovation and modernization of existing facilities under changing demands of visitors and tenants. Due to the issue of securities, the company's working capital is replenished and the debt portfolio is refinanced.
Green bonds
Institutional investors, they are also socially responsible investors, are now showing more and more interest in green bonds. Garant-Invest was the first in Russia to issue such bonds for commercial real estate. Two issues have already taken place: funds from one are invested in the PE Program, which modernizes existing shopping centers and increases their efficiency, and funds from the second issue are directed to the IFC WESTMALL project. The 3rd issue of green bonds is ready for placement to finance 62 green technologies in real estate during development and redevelopment.
