Online continues to grow

In 2021, the e-commerce segment continued to increase its share in retail turnover, which, however, still remains insignificant. According to Data Insight, by the end of the year, the share of online trade will be 10.9% of the total retail turnover, or 3.8 trillion rubles, and in 2022 - 14.2%, or 5.2 trillion rubles.

“The positive dynamics of e-commerce development has a significant impact on the strategy of developers and retailers, encouraging them to invest in the study of customer experience, adapt and transform the development strategy of their networks and portfolio of properties to meet new consumer preferences,” notes Anna Nikandrova.
